Thank you for your generosity! Emmarias Closet LLC is a community-driven organization based in San Leandro, CA, dedicated to providing free clothing, baby essentials, and resources to families in need. Your donations make our mission possible.

What We Accept

We gratefully accept the following donations:

  • Gently used or new clothing for infants, toddlers, and children
  • Baby essentials (diapers, wipes, formula, baby care products)
  • Hygiene and household essentials for families
  • Monetary donations to support purchasing needed items

What We Do Not Accept

  • Damaged, stained, or heavily worn items
  • Items that do not meet safety standards for infants and children

How Donations Are Used

All donated items and funds are used exclusively to support families in need in our community. Emmarias Closet LLC reserves the right to distribute donations at its discretion to best serve our mission.

Tax Information

Emmarias Closet LLC is a registered LLC. Please consult a tax professional regarding the deductibility of your donation.

📋 Donation Guidelines

By donating to Emmaria's Closet, you agree to the following:

  • ✅ All donations must be in good, usable condition.
  • ✅ Food donations must be unexpired and safe for consumption.
  • ✅ Perishable donations must be coordinated with us in advance.
  • ✅ We reserve the right to decline donations that do not meet our quality or safety standards.
  • ✅ All donations are given freely with no expectation of compensation.

🛋️ Large Item Donations (Furniture & Home Goods)

We love that you want to give big! However, due to limited storage space, we are unable to physically store large items such as couches, chairs, lamps, tables, and other furniture.

Here's how we can still help: We will post your item on our website with photos and details so community members in need can see what's available. We will then coordinate directly between the donor and the recipient to arrange pickup — at no cost to either party.

To list a large item donation, please email us at emmariascloset@gmail.com with photos and a description of the item and we will get it posted for you! 💛
